The term sharing economy: is a curious buzzword. Even more ambiguous is being company that falls into the category of sharing economy companies as we are. Just exactly what is the criteria for being considered one of the sharing economy companies? In our case it is a very clean distinction. We have invented a platform that we call "referral-tising" that literally replaces traditional click advertising with social media generated referrals. As such, we are among the sharing economy companies because we have pioneered a "consumer to consumer" selling mechanism and this is what puts us among the sharing economy companies. In essence, our platform invites people-to-people selling and removes the adverting from the selling equation.
We loosely fit into the group of companies known as sharing economy companies because our platform connects people to people in much the same way as advertising connects people to companies. We entice shoppers to share their product purchase details in order to earn rewards when this "sharing" results in purchases made by their social media friends. Our platform is further unique because not only does the shoppers earn rewards when they share their product purchase information with friends, but when those friends share with their friends, rewards are earned again, and still again when friends of friends purchase, and finally gain when friends of friends of friends purchase. This mechanism thus delivers exponential rewards. The very first of its kind online. With this system, it is clear to see that we are indeed one of the prime sharing economy companies for obvious reasons.
While we are one of the sharing economy companies, we also fit into several other related categories. We are a shopping rewards company; we are also considered and advertising company. Not because we are involved in advertising directly, on the contrary: we REPLACE advertising with what was mentioned earlier with what we call "referral-tising".
